Purchased king size futon with foam core, as expected it is extremely comfortable. My wife was sceptical but after a couple of nights she swears it's the most comfortable bed she has slept on. The futon is firm (as expected) but it molds to the position you sleep and is very supportive.
American oak bed frame is heavy and solid! Was easy to put together, not a easy a IKEA furniture but it was straight forward and at a casual pace took me about an hour.
After opening the mattress, myself and my wife notice a very strong smell of cream, (thickened cream) not sure if this is normal perhaps a dye they use or the natural smell of cotton. The smell wasn't not noticeable after a couple of days.
