Our bed frames are crafted from American Oak or European Oak. We avoid MDF, chipboard, veneers, and toxic finishes. Each frame is designed to be strong, stable, and free from harmful chemicals.

Are your bed frames compatible with latex and wool mattresses?

Yes. Zentai bed frames are engineered for proper ventilation and support, making them ideal for natural latex mattresses, wool futons, and layered bedding systems.

Do your bed frames require assembly?

Most Zentai frames arrive flat-packed and are easy to assemble using the provided hardware. Clear assembly instructions are included, and no specialised tools are required.

What weight can Zentai bed frames support?

Our solid hardwood construction provides exceptional durability. Most frames comfortably support a combined weight of 350–500 kg, depending on the model. If you have specific requirements, we can provide exact load ratings.

Do the bed frames come with a warranty?

Yes. All Zentai bed frames include a 3-year structural warranty covering manufacturing defects and workmanship issues.

Are the bed frames finished with natural oils?

Many of our frames are available with natural, low-VOC oil finishes. We do not use toxic lacquers or chemical treatments. Some designs are also offered unfinished for those who prefer a raw, natural timber look.

Do Zentai bed frames squeak or creak?

Our frames are designed with solid hardwood joinery and robust slat systems to minimise noise. When assembled correctly, they remain stable and quiet for years.

I searched far and wide for a lower profile frame, and Zentai was the nicest design I could find and very affordable. It makes our tiny room feel bigger. The set up was so straightforward. It’s also rare and very nice to be able to meet and talk to the makers and designers and get their advice before choosing what we wanted.
