This is the second Bambi mattress protector we have purchased from Zentai Living. We love our original one which is 8 years old and still looks as good as new, so when we needed another one we didn’t hesitate to go with what we know to be the best we’ve had.

Purchased 2 x King Single Futons with foam core and wool as extra, it feels so nice! I find the futon "hugs" you to sleep. My partner and I have no issues sleeping on it, I wake up feeling great each day. I am so thankful for Zentai Living for making these futons in Byron Bay, also nice to support Aussie businesses. This is my 2nd futon purchase from Zentai, and will be back again if I need another one, highly recommend. Tip for new customers, do make your order early as it does literally take up to 4 weeks from online order to your door. I would also suggest using a trolley/dolly to move your futon as unfortunately, the delivery driver will not wheel it into your house/unit for you. These futons are not your standard sized foldable futons that you can just pack away. They are large, heavy and solid futons, so you may need 2 people to carry and dry them. Also I would definitely recommend getting a mattress protector + topper as those little white plastic pins used to hold the futons do stick out, but with a reasonable mattress topper, you won't feel them. üëç, update we ended up joining the 2 king singles together so it's larger than a king bed üòù

TATAMI CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Tatami characteristics & handling
Exposure to sunlight and ultraviolet light will, over time, gradually alter the color of the Tatami surface. The initial green hue ( derived from rush grass ) will transition to a refined golden light brown straw color.
Tatami mats can be laid on top of most flooring such as stone, hardwood floor, carpet or heated floor. Adding perimeter frames will provide optimal protection against edge damage.
Tatami should NOT be laid on humid floors or used with shoes on.
Before using
Clean the surface of tatami mats with a damp cloth.
If you are finding Tatami mat’s natural grass and straw perfume is too strong, air the Tatami Mats outdoors for a few days avoiding moisture from weather or water sprinkles.
You may also clean the surface with lemon oil. Mix a little bit of oil with water and wipe the surface with damp cloth.
Always take your shoes off before walking on Tatami.
Routine periodic care
Wipe Tatami surface with damp cloth regularly.
When vacuuming, move the brush in the direction of the reed.
Put your tatami mats up every 2 months so it can be aired.
You can also take your tatami outside and place them in full sunlight, for a good sunbathing session for 1 to 2 hours. Sunning is very beneficial as it will prevent mold and mildew, kill bacteria with natural UV exposure and dry any moisture buildup.
During long rain periods, use of a dehumidifier is recommended to draw excess moisture away.
To clean the following stains:
Mold: Gently brush off the mold. Wipe with clean cloth moistened with ethyl alcohol. Never apply wet cleaners directly onto the mat.
Dents: Spray with water. Iron with a wet clean towel.
Ink: Wipe with clean cloth moistened with milk.
Dark stains: ( such as soy sauce and coffee ) Absorb stain with flour or talcum powder. Vacuum after.
Crayon: Scrape crayon. Apply a little cleaner to dry clean cloth and wipe.
Marker: Wipe with dry clean cloth moistened with nail polish removal.
Kerosene and urine: Absorb stain with flour. Vacuum. Wipe with tightly wrung wet cloth. Rinse and wipe again. Repeat several times.
