The Zentai 45-Night Comfort Guarantee

Choosing firmness online is hard — even in a showroom, five minutes on a mattress can’t tell you how it feels at 3am. So we take the guesswork out of it. If your new Zentai organic latex mattress feels too firm or too soft, we’ll exchange the latex layers inside it for a different density within your first 45 nights.

No sending a whole mattress back — just the right layer, swapped.

Why we can do what big-box brands can’t

Every Zentai Premium mattress is designed and assembled in our Byron Bay workshop from separate layers of GOLS-certified organic latex in soft, medium and firm densities. The layers aren’t glued together — they’re designed to be flipped, rotated and rearranged.

That means comfort isn’t locked in at the factory. If the feel isn’t right, we change the layer — not the mattress. It’s better for you, and it means no compressed, unsellable returned mattresses ending up in landfill.

How it works

1. Settle in — give it 14 nights Natural latex feels different from springs and synthetic foam, and most bodies adapt within two weeks. Sleep on your new mattress for at least 14 nights before deciding.

2. Talk to us — try a free rearrangement Duo- and tri-layer mattresses can be reconfigured to change the feel — no parts needed. Call us on (02) 6685 6722 and we’ll talk you through the layer combinations. Most comfort issues are solved right here, for free.

3. Still not right? We’ll swap the layer Within 45 nights of delivery, request your comfort exchange. We’ll recommend the right density, courier the replacement latex layer to your door with return packaging, and collect the original. One exchange per mattress (where more than one layer needs changing, we may include additional layers at our discretion); a flat $95 freight & handling fee applies — the new layer itself is free.

Layers must be returned clean, unstained and undamaged — we strongly recommend a mattress protector from night one.

Frequently asked questions

No — and that’s deliberate. Refund-trial mattresses are usually compressed foam that can’t be resold, so “free returns” often means landfill (and the cost built into the price). Because Zentai mattresses are layered, we fix comfort by exchanging the layer instead. You keep your mattress; we get the feel right.

Once per mattress, within 45 nights of delivery. In practice, a free layer rearrangement plus one density swap resolves almost every comfort issue. Further layer changes are available any time at our standard layer prices — that’s another benefit of a layered mattress: you can adjust it for years to come.

A flat $95 freight & handling fee covers courier delivery of your new layer(s) and collection of the originals, Australia-wide.

No. The 45-Night Comfort Guarantee is about comfort. Manufacturing and material defects are separately covered by our Manufacturer’s Guarantee [10-year currently on site; 20-year pro-rata upgrade planned — TO CONFIRM before publishing].

Always. Every replacement layer we send is brand new — for hygiene and health reasons we never re-use returned latex, and returned layers are never resold in any form. They’re responsibly disposed of.
